This year you can, I'm opening my Studio to the public over 4 weekends. With lots of special buying opportunities.
The four Open Studio 2024 weekends are as follows -
June 8th and 9th, which is the launch weekend for Belle Vue Arts Festival.
Both, July 13th and 14th, along with the Shrewsbury Arts Trail and August 10th and 11th.
Also, November 23rd and 24th. I'll put the heater on for these days.
What's available?
For these Open Studio weekends I'll have some special offers for you.
Obviously you'll be able to see my original Art really close up, to study the texture and details.
Expect to see some sort of money off opportunity. This will only apply to Art that I have available on any of the dates.
I do also plan to have some Signed, Limited Edition prints available. Maybe a different print run on each weekend... I've not decided yet.
How do I feel about Opening my Studio?
I think I feel a mixture of excitement and terror.
This is taking me way out of my comfort zone, but that's how we grow right?
Any how, I've paid my money and completed the registration form, so I've committed myself now, there's no going back.
Keeping it real.
It's a small space, and is my working Art Studio.
I will tidy up but I also want to keep it real, to show it as it mostly is.
Say Hi.
What I am most looking forward to is meeting people.
Those supporters that are interested enough in what I paint and my creative process to pop along.
Of course this is also the opportunity for people to ask me questions about my work, whether its about materials, techniques or my inspiration.

Magnificent Max (our cat and studio supervisor) may be around at the Open Studios, but please don't take it personally if he isn't. He's not really a fan of meeting new people.
Having said that he may surprise us all by strolling around the garden.

I fully appreciate that these Open Studio dates may not work for everyone.
Maybe you want to discuss a private commission with me.
